Introduction
3003 patterned aluminum sheet is a typical aluminum-manganese alloy, also called rust-resistant aluminum plate. Its manganese content can reach 1.20%, and due to this it offers better rust prevention than 1xxx aluminum plates. With increased Mn, 3003 patterned alloy has higher hardness, good mechanical properties, good formability, and very good corrosion resistance and weldability. H14 indicates a tempered state (as described): 3003 has undergone strain hardening and partial annealing. In this state, 3003 is easy to form. Embossing/pressing in this condition will not deform or crack the aluminum.
3003 patterned sheet is often called diamond plate; diamond patterns are anti-slip and attractive. It can be produced with one-rib, two-rib, three-rib, or five-rib patterns (as described).3003 patterned aluminum sheet has good corrosion resistance and can be used for chemical industry applications, or for decoration in shipbuilding and port facilities. It is also used in humid environments such as refrigerator and air-conditioner ventilation ducts.
Key Features
- 3003 patterned sheet has strong plasticity, is easy to form, and offers excellent processing performance. It has medium strength, good corrosion resistance and broad applications.
- Surface quality is good: free from oil stains, waviness, scratches and roller marks; neatly trimmed edges and no burrs.
- Thanks to its anti-slip and rust-resistant performance, it is commonly used for loading/unloading ramps, trench covers, wharf floors, stair treads, and floors for cars/trucks/ambulances and fire engines.
- It also has good surface quality and can be used for decorative wall panels, cabinet applications, and ceilings, etc.
Applications
With good corrosion resistance, 3003 patterned aluminum sheet is used in chemical industries or as decoration for ship/port facilities, and is also suitable for humid environments such as refrigerator and air-conditioner ventilation ducts.
