Introduction
3004 aluminum coil is an Al–Mn alloy and is widely used rust-resistant aluminum. It has good formability, weldability and corrosion resistance and is suitable for processing parts requiring good formability, high corrosion resistance and good weldability. 3004 and 3003 aluminum alloys meet essentially similar requirements, but 3004 has higher strength than 3003 and performs relatively better in corrosion resistance and product forming.
3004 belongs to the Al–Mnx series; it offers high formability, good solubility and strong corrosion resistance, with excellent processing/forming suitability for corrosion-resistant equipment. 3004 coil is commonly used to produce all-aluminum beverage cans, mainly for food production and storage/distribution containers such as tableware, trays and cake trays, etc.
